Marshall: Four Months

(Let's just expect that I will always be late with Marshall's posts!)

Marshall turned four months old on the Fourth of July!

Our little Marshmallow is officially 26 inches long (82%) and 14 pounds 11 ounces (44%). He is maintaining his longer, leaner profile.

He is wearing all 6 month clothes and jumped up to 9 month pajamas right before he turned four months old. Literally one night he suddenly didn't fit his six month footie pajamas anymore.

Marshall's sleep is pretty much the same as last month. Mostly he gets up just once a night, with a couple times of twice a night and a couple times with a 7+ hours stretch. He has moved up his bed time to about 8:00pm. He starts to get grumpy around 7:30pm. We wake him up for the day (during the week) around 7:20 and he takes two 2-3 hour naps.

His eating is about the same as last month as well. Marshall eats about every 2-3 hours with me and usually 2-3 4 ounce bottles at daycare. On the other side of things, he tends to spit up quite a bit (nothing that I am concerned with, I keep looking up reflux and he doesn't really qualify). We also give him major applause any day he manages to not poop on his clothes at daycare, ha ha.

Marshall still has no teeth, but I keep thinking we are really close! He chews on everything. That includes his pacifier, which he still refuses to actually use.

We still haven't seen much change to his eyes. I would guess they will be some version of hazel. He just started losing his hair though. It is all over his bouncy seat and he had a bald strip along the back of his head. At least his new hair has started growing back in already.

Marshall is such a smiley baby! He has turned out to be so easy going. Generally he will just hang out while we cook or play with Vander. He loves laying on a blanket or chilling in his bouncer.

He has started getting close to sitting on his own and loves to stand up. Squeaks loves his tummy time and can hold his head up 90 degrees very well. He he made a couple little attempts to push himself up with him arms.

Marshall also enjoys when you read books with him, sing or talk to him, and especially loves kisses.

His firsts this month included his first Rockies game, trip to the pool and trying out the exersaucer!

Love this little guy so much :)
