Ice Cream and Fireworks

For the fourth of July, Dylan and I hung out with a couple of his closest friends from Nebraska.

Before we met up with them, we bought some ice cream from Goodrich and decided to go for a walk around a nearby lake.

 Phew it was hot! Our ice cream melted really fast. Dylan finally decided he really does like Colorado better since it is not so ridiculously humid. It was not even 90 degrees and we were absolutely melting. I usually love 90 degrees here in CO.

Then we headed over to Dylan's friends' house. We played polish horseshoes and hung out after getting a tour of their house.

 Freya had a lot of fun playing with their dog, Casey. Casey was definitely a die hard going after the Frisbee while everyone was playing.

Then it was time for fireworks! One of the girls showed us how to take pictures on fireworks on Dylan's camera. Super cool!

So our whole Otley family had a great time celebrating Independence Day :)
