We celebrated Vander's first birthday twice this year! Once on his actual birthday, May 30th, while we were in South Carolina, and once with a big party at our house the weekend after.
On his birthday we spent time at the beach, playing in the sand and the surf. Vander had so much fun!
We all went out to dinner to celebrate Vander and since it was the last night of our trip. We all tried on the birthday boy hat.
After we all took pictures by the inlet before we headed back for cake.
It was really late for Vander to be up, so he was a little slow getting into his cake, but he really enjoyed it! And he loved being the center of attention.
I definitely think Vander enjoyed his birthday! As long as he doesn't expect a beach vacation every year :)
