Working in the Garden

My in-laws are coming into town tomorrow and my mother-in-law (MIL) is a big gardener.

We didn't want to be embarassed by the state of our yard and garden, so we put in a lot of work this weekend.

We spent 2.5 hours weeding and taking care of the yard on Saturday morning and then another 1.5 hours this morning. There are still some weeds in the grass, but everything looks a lot better!

Dylan did the mowing and edging and helped with the weeding (especially the stupid aspen trees that come up everywhere!). I did the poop patrol and a lot of weeding and sweeping.

We have also had some new flowers come up this week :)

 We have had a lot going on in the yard this week! I will be sad when fall is over and we don't have any more flowers. At the same time, the fall will be really pretty and the snow will be so much fun for us and the puppies.
